Thirty-Three New Pastoral Covenant Groups
In the month of October, thirty-three new Pastoral Covenant Groups
were launched in the "Making Connections" project.
With these additions in six states, the total number of groups projected for
this fall now stands at 65, involving approximately 600 pastors.
One PCG Facilitator reports, "We had a pastor at our retreat who
said, 'If this doesn't work, I'm leaving the ministry.' Before the weekend was
over, God encountered him, brought healing, and now he feels that he has the
courage and strength to carry on."
A total of thirteen states are currently in partnership with the Center for
Pentecostal Leadership and Care in its mission to advance pastoral excellence.
Those states include Florida, Alabama, North Georgia, Northern Ohio, Southern
Ohio, Tennessee, Eastern North Carolina, New Jersey, Texas, California-Nevada,
Rocky Mountain Region, Great Lakes Region, and Southwest Hispanic Region.
